Health & Safety
Ecology Services Limited recognises its responsibility to ensure, so far as reasonably practical, the health safety and welfare of its employees.
Health and Safety Method Statements are designed on a site basis, due to the different nature of each project. The main duties incumbent on employees are outlined along with identifiable risks, and measures undertaken to reduce health and safety issues that an employee may incur whilst working on a site.
General sections within the Health and Safety Method Statements include: Details of work, Work timescales, Liaisons with contractors, Risk identification, Company procedures, Risk awareness, Site access, Welfare arrangements, Emergency procedures and a Conclusion.
The main risks that arise when undertaking field based work are stated in a risk assessment form.
All staff are informed of the risks, on a site basis, by the project co-ordinator, to raise risk awareness.
The health & safety of Ecology Services Limited employees is of the utmost importance.
